Creative Director

The primary role of the Creative Director is to bring each Sedulo Group client deliverable to life.  The ability to transform data into a story is one of the many offerings that sets Sedulo Group apart from its competitors and this is the most crucial responsibility of the Creative Director.  Many professionals today are suffering from data overload - creative, organized graphics can be one of the cures.  

The Creative Director will be heavily involved within all facets of the company, serving as a crucial member of our team. We are looking for leadership qualities and strong business skills, on top of a proficiency in design.  Creativity is a gift and a valuable quality that is highly respected and desired at Sedulo Group. This role will also be in charge of conveying the image of the company through marketing, social media, graphics and web design.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):

  • Adherence to Sedulo Group Standard Operating Procedures within the dynamic of a team environment.
  • Upholding high and professional company standards while designing, producing, and updating presentations and other materials for internal and external fortune 100 client needs.
  • Partnering with analysts, project managers, and senior management to create and edit company materials.
  • Effectively communicating conceptual and design ideas verbally and written.
  • Exhibiting a professional, positive attitude with a willingness to grow professionally.
  • Selecting colors, images, text styles and layouts.
  • Creating and maintaining websites.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED 

  • Flexibility, stamina, drive, strong work ethic, motivation, and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as collaborate with team members and senior staff to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and layout design.
  • Experience working on a Mac platform.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in web design.
  • Broad knowledge of design principles and best practices.
  • Ability to multitask; manage simultaneous projects and other management responsibilities.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and coach individuals with varying levels of experience and education.

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate graphic design.
  • Minimum 3 years of Project management experience - ability to plan, accomplish goals, and meet deadlines across a variety of tasks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.
  • Strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, and working knowledge of other Adobe Creative Cloud software.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PPT.
  • Creative portfolio demonstrating the ability to produce high quality, professional and creative content.

This is a full time salaried position with the potential for performance-based bonuses.
